Road to Grindelwald September 2010 16 x 20 Oil on stretched canvas Based on photos taken during Irving Chorale concert tour to Switzerland and France 06/23/10-07/08/10. The background is from a picture taken from the window of the tour bus; the little cabins were in other shots; the big blue cabin was from another picture; and the bridge actually came from a photo I took in Glendalough, Ireland. Jenna wrote this in her trip journal: "All along the gorgeous route to Grindelwald the Alps surround us and the river is blue-green from glacial melt. Chalets dot the hillside and cabins line the lake front." This painting was a gift to Cori & Andy Miller for Christmas 2012.
